B'Korgen

B'Korgen is a Sea Sload alchemist encountered in Welenkin Cove as a world boss.

Using his alchemical prowess and a supply of tainted coral, B'Korgen has been seeking to aid the other members of the Abyssal Cabal and cause the yaghra to evolve. As a result of his activities, he has been marked for death by the Divine Prosecution.

Skills and Abilities

Shadow Waves

B'Korgen twirls his hands around his belly, and shadow waves begin to pulse out from under him in all directions, indicated by small traveling circular AoEs, dealing high magical damage each.

Mind Blast

A beam connects between the tips of B'Korgen's dorsal fin and two players, dealing major Oblivion damage and stunning them until the attack wears off or they break free. This ability can be blocked to negate the stun, but it might be hard to spot in the mayhem as the sparks indicator is at the top of his head and B'Korgen is quite tall.

Summon Globules

B'Korgen summons Alchemical Globules throughout the fight. When enough of them are up (usually three or more), he will obtain a large damage shield. Thus, in order to inflict significant damage on him, you must ensure that you and your companions are focusing on taking down the globules as they appear. After all of them are destroyed, there will be a period of time where he will no longer summon them, until starting to summon them again until he uses Watery Escape, one or two at a time.

Globule Toss

While globules are active in the fight, B'Korgen will occasionally reposition them in the arena, with force. He will twirl his hands and the globules are then propelled away. If they hit you, they inflict moderate physical damage and stagger you.

Summon Yaghra

Throughout the fight, B'Korgen will continuously spawn stronger Yaghra Larvae, Yaghra Spewers and Yahgra Striders from the pool that forms the arena, which will then assist in the fight. The large quantity of them, combined with the constantly appearing globules, can make targetting B'Korgen with single-target abilities very difficult.

Watery Escape

After taking enough damage once his damage shield is broken, B'Korgen slithers underwater and moves to one of the far ends of the arena. Upon re-emerging, he will always summon the total amount of globules possible, like he does prior to starting the encounter.
