Melalduil is a High Elf prisoner that is sacrificed by a necromancer to awaken a Soulrazer Knight Sentinel when encountered overland. He can be met as part of a random encounter in the wilderness of the island of Galen.

Dialogue

The Soulrazer ritual

When approaching, Melalduil will say one of the following:

Melalduil: "Listen, I just know I'll make a terrible ghost soldier. Could we discuss alternatives?"

Melalduil: "My neighbor is much bigger than me, and very muscular! He'd make a much better ghost servant!"

Melalduil: "You need a soul, I want to live, these don't have to be mutually exclusive goals! We can work something out!"

To which the Necromancer will respond to him with one of the following:

Necromancer: "I grow tired of your incessant whining."

Necromancer: "Stop your wriggling! This is a delicate incantation."

When he gets sacrificed:

Melalduil: "I hope someone feeds my dog!"
